KOT, tables and waiter phones

Nine at night, and every ticket still lands in the kitchen.

SmartPOS is restaurant billing software for the Windows PC at your counter. Orders print as kitchen order tickets the moment they are punched, the floor shows who is waiting on what, bills split down to the item, and the shift closes against a counted drawer.

Service does not wait for the internet. Windows 10 & 11 · 64-bit

KOT on punch

Tickets reach the station as the order is taken.

Live floor

Running tables, rounds and who is waiting.

Waiter phones

Orders taken at the table over your own Wi-Fi.

Counted drawer

Shifts open on a float and close on X and Z.

The core

Everything the counter needs, on day one

The modules below are in every licence. The rest switch on when your licence says so.

🍽️

Sell

Take orders, send KOTs, settle bills and print receipts. This is the screen the counter lives on, and it is in every licence.

🧾

Orders

Order history with reprint, cancel and refund — so a question about a bill from an hour ago is answered at the counter rather than in a spreadsheet.

📋

Menu

Categories, items, variations, add-ons, pictures and taxes. A variation and an add-on price correctly on the bill and print correctly on the ticket.

⚙️

Settings

Restaurant profile, printers, receipt layout and order types — dine-in, takeaway and delivery each taxed and printed the way they should be.

Service

The ticket is in the kitchen before the waiter turns around

An order punched at the counter or on a waiter’s phone becomes a kitchen order ticket immediately. Stations get their own tickets, so the grill is not reading the fryer’s work off the same slip.

  • KOT on punch, printed per station or shown on the kitchen screen
  • Rounds, so a second and third order on the same table stay in sequence
  • Variations and add-ons print the way the kitchen needs to read them
  • Cancels and reprints are an action on the order, not a scribble on a slip
The floor

A floor plan that matches the room

Areas and tables laid out as they actually sit, with running tables showing what has been ordered, what has been served and what is still owed. A table is transferred or merged without retyping the order.

  • Floor areas and dine-in tables, arranged as the restaurant is
  • Running tables with the current round and the running total
  • Split a bill down to the item, or merge tables onto one
  • Dine-in, takeaway and delivery each taxed and printed per their order type
Modules

Four modules are always there. The rest is your plan.

Sell, Orders, Menu and Settings are in every licence. Everything else — tables, the kitchen screen, waiter phones, loyalty, delivery, payroll — is included in a plan or added to one.

🪑

Tables

Floor areas, dine-in tables, running tables and rounds — so the floor on screen matches the floor in the room, and nobody has to remember which table ordered what.

🔥

Kitchen screen

Live tickets per station, so the grill and the fryer each see their own work instead of one printer producing a single ticket for the whole kitchen.

📱

Waiter phones

Waiters take orders at the table on their own phones over the restaurant Wi-Fi, and the order is in the kitchen before they have walked back.

🛵

Delivery integration

Swiggy and Zomato orders arrive through the Delivery API and sit in the same queue as the counter’s, instead of on a separate tablet nobody watches.

Licensing

A plan, and the limits that come with it

The activation screen lists the current plans, what each one includes and its limits — counter PCs, waiter phones, tables, menu items, staff accounts and orders a month — and Settings → License shows how much of each you are using.

Four modules are never gated

Sell, Orders, Menu and Settings are in every licence, so the counter always works.

Add a module, not a product

Tables, kitchen, waiter phones, delivery, loyalty, payroll and the rest are included in a plan or added to one.

Limits are visible, not surprises

Settings → License shows each limit and how much of it is used, before you reach it.

FAQ

SmartPOS is restaurant billing software for Windows. It prints kitchen order tickets as orders are punched, runs a live table map with rounds, splits and merges bills, takes orders from waiter phones over the restaurant’s own Wi-Fi, pulls Swiggy and Zomato orders into the same queue, and closes the shift against a counted drawer — all on the PC at your counter, so service does not stop when the connection does.

Anything else — ask support, we answer in business hours.

Does SmartPOS keep billing when the internet drops?

Yes. SmartPOS runs on the Windows PC at your counter, so taking orders, printing KOTs, settling bills and closing the shift all work without a connection. The internet is used for licence check-ins, delivery-platform orders, WhatsApp and backup.

Can waiters take orders at the table?

On the plans that include Waiter phones, yes — waiters use their own phones over the restaurant’s Wi-Fi, and the order reaches the kitchen before they have walked back. How many phones may be signed in at once is part of your licence.

Does it print kitchen order tickets per station?

Yes. A KOT is produced the moment an order is punched, and stations can have their own printer or their own view on the kitchen screen, so the grill and the fryer are not reading one another’s work off the same slip.

Can a bill be split?

Down to the item. Tables can also be merged onto one bill, transferred between areas, and billed across several payment modes at once.

Do Swiggy and Zomato orders come in automatically?

On plans that include Delivery integration, they arrive through the Delivery API and join the same order queue as the counter’s, rather than living on a separate tablet.

What decides which screens I can open?

Your licence. Sell, Orders, Menu and Settings are in every licence; everything else — tables, kitchen, cash register, guests, loyalty, offers, delivery, reports, waiter phones, labels, packing, WhatsApp, webhooks, payroll, staff, backup — is included in a plan or added to one.

Put it on your own counter.

Install it, put your own products in, and see it on the machine it has to run on.
